Children

In a culture that saw children as distractions, Jesus radically welcomed, loved, and blessed children. Jesus said that we should be like them - we must be impacted and influenced by God and His grace, just like a child is impacted and influenced by a parent (Mark 10:13-16).

At Grace, we pray and hope that the Lord uses our proclamation of Christ in our children’s ministry to the lives of our children to reveal himself to them (Romans 10:17), knowing God is the one that changes hearts by the work of the Holy Spirit.

“We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done. So that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children, so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments.” - Psalm 74:4; 6-7

Nursery

Our mission is to create a safe and nurturing environment where children and parents experience the love of God through the care they receive, inspiring a deeper desire to know Him and serve His church. We provide nursery care for infants through pre-kindergarten aged children.

Children in Worship Service

Children are encouraged to sit with their families during the worship service - what better way to display active faith than to have your children see you worshipping God through songs, prayer, and Scripture. If children are in worship with you, feel free to quietly explain what is happening during the service to them.

If your child(ren) become too much of a distraction during worship, feel free to take them into the Fellowship Hall below the sanctuary, into the overflow room (which is the adult Sunday school classroom), or you are welcome to bring them into the nursery.
