(Grace and Peace Pres) On the first day of the week Jesus rose from the dead, breaking the power of sin and death. So, it's on Sundays we gather to worship, celebrate and remember that ‘the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never overcome it’ (John 1:5). In the midst of trial, worry, or busyness, we put down the work of our hands to consider the eternal work of God. This isn’t an empty ritual that we march through half-asleep; it is the proclamation of grace that reminds us that our worth and identity rests in the finished work of Jesus.
Our worship time runs about an hour and a half, and everything you need to know will be in the bulletin you get when you walk in the door. If you’d rather not participate in parts of the service, that’s okay. We hope that even if parts of the worship feel foreign to you, you will feel free to observe and talk to us about it later simply.
(our website) Each Sunday at 10AM we gather as a community to worship the One who made us and redeemed us. Our worship includes singing, prayer, Scripture reading, preaching, and communion – all designed us to point us to the grace of God that we so desperately need. Is our worship contemporary or traditional? Yes, yes it is. Or as one member who recently joined Grace put it, “It’s contemporal.” Our singing is a mix of old and new – and includes many traditional hymns set to more contemporary tunes. We hope that our worship is rooted yet relevant. Dress is generally casual, but feel free to wear whatever you feel is appropriate. Your presence is what matters to us.
We worship on Sunday mornings at 10am with Sunday School meeting at 9am.
